4KUniverse in talks with Music Composer Jacob Yoffee to Create a New Original Score for the Official 4KUniverse Motion Picture Studio Theatrical Logo
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - ORANGE COUNTY, CA – February 4, 2021 at 11:00am PT – 4KUniverse, the new 4K HDR streaming service, is in talks with music composer Jacob Yoffee to create a new original score for a 20-second 4KUniverse motion picture studio theatrical logo. The logo will precede all Original movies released by 4KUniverse in theaters, on its cable channel, and on its streaming service.
The logo will be recorded with a 60-piece orchestra to achieve the classic Hollywood sound.
In addition, 4KUniverse’s streaming service’s VIP plan, coined ‘Chief of Staff Access’, similar to Disney’s ‘Premier Access’, will also get the special treatment from Yoffee for movie trailer TV spots.
Starting his career as a composer in a classical conservatory, Jacob has a strong orchestral foundation. But very early on he was exposed to modern Jazz and spent a decade exploring that world, which led him to New York. He made a living performing in all kinds of bands & groups: Rock, Pop, Music Theatre, Country, Neo-Soul, Hip-hop, Big-Band Jazz, Chamber music, etc.… this provided an incredible knowledge-base to draw upon when scoring films.
Jacob Yoffee has scored trailers for Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Jungle Book, Ready Player One, The Hobbit, and Aladdin.
Yoffee has worked on film/television projects with Jay-Z, Robert Downey, Jr., Kevin Hart and Janelle Monae. He has continued to compose traditional concert music and is still currently the Resident Composer for the American Studio Orchestra. His concert music has been performed in the U.S. and Great Britain at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, the Royal Academy of Music, and on BBC Radio.
Jacob Yoffee previously scored Mance Media’s studio logo in 2014, the distribution company owned by 4KUniverse Founder Matthew Mancinelli.
