1 Million Minutes of 4KUNIVERSE Programming Have Streamed On Roku Devices in 4K
LOS ANGELES, CA – July 23, 2017 – 4KUNIVERSE, the first 24/7 4K Ultra HD general entertainment TV channel in America, announced today that 1 million minutes of its 4K programming have streamed on 4K-enabled Roku devices. The most popular 4K TV series on 4KUNIVERSE to date is ‘Blue World’, the underwater series starring Emmy Award-winner cinematographer Jonathan Bird.
4KUNIVERSE not only streams its channel as an app on 4K-enabled Roku devices, but can also be found on Amazon Fire TV, as well as on the 4KUNIVERSE website www.4kuniversenow.com). In addition, 4KUNIVERSE recently announced that it will soon debut its offering of 4K/UHD content on SONY Bravia 4K TVs - powered by Android - in August 2017.
The premiere 4K-resolution Blue World season features episodes on tiger sharks in the Bahamas, muck diving in Iceland, Florida cave diving, the Mayan underworld, scuba diving in Turks & Caicos, diving with NASA, a shark electro sensory experiment, flower gardens in the Caribbean and an episode featuring a giant Giant Pacific Octopus. The 10-episode season airs Thursdays at 7pm ET on 4KUNIVERSE’s cable channel, and all episodes are currently streaming on 4KUNIVERSE’s $5.99/mo streaming channel.
